Linear grinding
target machine

he equipment is a unique target machine for machining carbon brush parts, which uses the grinding tools of the company Lach-Diamant with special geometry to form the required machining in the surface of the workpiece. At the customer’s request, the machine was built on the frame of an existing old grinding machine. The now automatic grinding machine feeds the prefabricated parts from a magazine.

Drill-scraper
target machine

he equipment is used for boring holes in carbon brush parts and for scratching the surface of the holes. Through automated operations, our customer’s productivity has been significantly improved, reaching approximately 3,000 parts machined per shift. The workpieces are continuously loaded into the drilling-scratching target machine by an operator, and are transferred between work phases by a circular table (Autorotor production) product handling system. The design is suitable for subsequent robotic loading.

Automatic Welding
Machine

he automatic equipment is used for soldering of current collector components. By replacing the manual soldering of current collectors, it is possible to solder approximately 180 products per shift, which has resulted in a very significant increase in productivity for our customers. The workpiece, pre-supplied with solder paste, is placed in the heater by a machine operator. The product is automatically fixed in position after the process has started.

PIN fitting target
machine

he equipment assembles copper contact elements into ceramic parts. Each step of the multi-step workflow is provided by a circular product movement, achieving a production rate of 20 parts/min (i.e. 3 seconds/part) during the continuous workflow. The automatic equipment uses a vibratory feeder to feed the contacts into the insertion heads. The ceramic parts are placed into the device by an operator, from where, after positioning, the automatic cycle performs the multi-step assembly operation – all the time checking the successful completion of each step. The contacts are pressed by a Festo YJKP servo press.

Conveyor system

This equipment was manufactured for the transport of railway valves in order to ensure continuous product flow. The conveyor transports products between the various assembly, marking and inspection stations. It halts, positions and raises the valves at the necessary points which allows the necessary action to be performed on the palette. The conveyor was built using Bosch compatible profiles and transports pallets using a chain drive.

Tube test station

The equipment inspects the tubes connecting the railway vehicles at the same time, up to 4 cells at once. The equipment fills the tubes with high pressure compressed air, then determines the capacity to withstand pressure by creating a pressure drop. The machine is suitable for handling tubes of varying lengths and can accept two types of attachments. It stores measurement data which following the test can be retrieved based on a printed barcode.

Semi-automatic valve greaser

The equipment was made to grease the valves of the vehicle’s tires before assembly. It is capable of assembling valves with varying length and 11 different types of methods of folding. This may be increased if necessary. The machine communicates with the production management system and automatically switches to the appropriate valve type.

Disc package pre-heater

A machine designed to temper the electric motor rotors before casting. During its operation it heats up work pieces through surface heat transfer which ensures that the aluminum product does not prematurely harden in the product’s narrow pipes.

Stator frame manipulator

Heavy parts in the processing cells of the pump motors may be moved between the lathes, cleaning and inspection stations. The equipment is capable of serving an entire processing cell on a top gantry. The pneumatic balancer cylinder ensures that the operator is unencumbered.
